INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– (Dec. 4, 2013)– Indianapolis Colts’ owner Jim Irsay spoke with FOX59’s sports director Chris Hagan Tuesday night and weighed in on a variety of topics regarding his first place team.

Irsay is never shy about critiquing his team via his Twitter account, but on this occasion, he praised the Colts for their impressive 8-4 record despite numerous key injuries. He also defended running back Trent Richardson and said his team can still make some noise in the playoffs.

Irsay did stress, however, the team must do a better job of protecting quarterback Andrew Luck.
