INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 9, 2013)– On Monday, charges were formally filed against two brothers accused of shooting and killing an Iraq vet who was going to pick up an iPad he bought off of Craigslist.

Tryon and Tyshaune Kincade have each been charged with two counts of murder and one count each of robbery. On Dec. 4, officers found a man shot at 920 Wyckford Dr. They later identified the victim as Sgt. First Class Jim Vester. Investigators said he was answering a Craigslist ad for an iPad. A witness told police he saw Vester pull up in his vehicle and park. He later heard two gunshots and saw Vester fall while walking back to his car.

The community has rallied around Vester’s family. More than $50,000 had been raised through this fundraising page in just a couple of days.
