Clark County man arrested Monday on four felony charges

BORDEN, Ind. (Dec. 10, 2013)– A Borden man faces multiple felony charges after being arrested Monday night.

Shortly before midnight last night, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg were dispatched to the 2900 block of Crone Road in Clark County for a domestic disturbance.

After troopers arrived and investigated the reason for the call, they learned Joshua D. Burton, 29, allegedly committed sexual battery, strangulation, and criminal confinement on a female whom was allegedly living at the home with him.

He was arrested and transported to the Clark County jail where he was incarcerated on one charge each of:

  • Criminal confinement, “C” felony
  • Sexual battery, “D” felony
  • Strangulation, “D” felony
  • Domestic battery, “D” felony

This investigation is ongoing.
