NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (December 29, 2013) — Just before 10 Sunday morning, Noblesville police were dispatched to check local dental offices for possible evidence of criminal activity as a result of a county-wide alert.

The alert was sent by the Carmel Police Department shortly after an officer conducted a traffic stop near 106th and Keystone Parkway in Carmel.

Officers indicated that they had discovered several TVs and laptops in a vehicle that was stopped for an alleged violation of Indiana’s licensing and registration laws.

Officers indicated that some of the contents in the vehicle led them to believe there was a connection to a dental clinic or office.

Noblesville police began checking dental offices and discovered several businesses in the 400 block of Sheridan Road that appeared to have been burglarized.

After investigating, evidence suggested that entry was forced into each of the businesses and investigators were called to investigate each scene and interview victims and witnesses.

Investigators were able to identify a suspect in the case who happened to be the subject that Carmel police for unrelated alleged driving offense.

He was later identified as Anthony Reed, 52, Indianapolis. He is currently being held in the Hamilton County jail on charges of burglary and theft.
