DUNREITH (Jan. 6, 2014) – One person died following a two-car crash in Henry County.

It happened Sunday around 5:45 p.m. at U.S. 40 and State Road 3 at the south SR3 and U.S. 40 split near Dunreith. State troopers arrived to find a white Ford F-150 and a Toyota Camry had collided.

Preliminary investigation showed that the Camry, driven by Christopher M. Hudson, 41, Richmond, was going north on SR3 toward U.S. 40 and slid past a stop sign into the intersection. State troopers said Hudson was going too fast on the snow-covered road.

The F-150 was heading east on U.S. 40 and slammed into the driver’s side of the Camry. State troopers said the driver of the pickup, Connie Pendleton, 60, Dublin, couldn’t avoid the other vehicle.

Hudson died in the crash. Pendleton went to Henry County Memorial Hospital after complaining of pain and other injuries.
