INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The blood supply is running low after the recent winter storm. The weather hurt donations by closing centers and making it hard for people to venture out to donate. Indiana Blood Centers are hosting a drive throughout the weekend. The centers reopened Thursday when weather conditions improved.

Thee Indianapolis Colts is partnering with the blood center and their “Light the Town Blue” ahead of the playoff game against New England this weekend.

The Indiana Blood Centers will be open Saturday, January 11th from 8 a.m. through 2 p.m. Donors will receive a Colts playoff poster and a Colts football featuring punter Pat McAfee, while supplies last. The giveaway is happening at the following locations: Avon (Hendricks Regional Health YMCA)**, Carmel, Downtown Indianapolis, Fishers, and Greenwood. The center will also hand out a Colts playoff poster and a blue glow necklace at the following locations: Columbus, Lafayette, Muncie, and Terre Haute.
