INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (Jan. 18, 2014) — Indy Snow Force is reporting the plows will remain at full force to salt and plow the roads as needed.

A full shift of 90 drivers will report at 11 p.m. Saturday night and will continue to rotate on 12-hour shifts until the weather event is over and the roads are safe and passable.

With these conditions, drivers should plan for delays and slick streets and should allow extra time when traveling.

Indy Snow Force plows more than 6,000 lane miles of the City’s primary and secondary streets and ┬ámay take up to two hours to plow a single snow route while snow is falling.
