Police ask for public’s help in locating missing Lafayette man

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Jan. 22, 2014)— The Lafayette Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing 25-year-old man.

Police said Neal Curtis Bastian was last seen Saturday in the 1200 block of North 13th Street in Lafayette, Ind. He told his friends and family he was going fishing.

Bastian is approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall and around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green zip-up jacket with a fur collar, boots and a black stocking cap. Bastian wears glasses and was carrying a backpack and a fishing pole.

Police said Bastian does not have a car and may have used public transportation.
