INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—A Wind Chill Advisory will be issued beginning at 1 a.m. Thursday for most of the state.
More artic air with gusty winds will move into the area Wednesday. The combination will produce dangerous wind chills and is expected to continue until Friday.
Wind chill values are expected to reach -15 to -25 degrees with winds of up to 10 to 20 mph.
Take precaution when outside as frostbite and hypothermia can occur if you are exposed to the bitter cold for long periods of time.
The advisory will last until noon Friday.
