FISHERS, Ind.– There’s a central Indiana neighborhood that takes the love of the game to a new level.
The Bristols neighborhood in Fishers is made up of streets named after NFL teams and football terms.
Coincidentally, the two teams playing in this year’s Super Bowl, the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos, have their streets near each other.
Many of the neighborhood residents FOX 59 spoke with said they love the football street theme, but regardless of where they live, most of them are pulling for Peyton Manning.
“We like Peyton Manning. We’re Manning fans. He’s always a Colt to us,” said Jack Dye.
Wayne Derr said he wishes the neighborhood had a Colts Street, but rooting for Peyton is the next best thing.
“We’re one of the originals, so it was fun to be a part of the community that has the football teams around here,” said Derr. “Being on Broncos and Broncos in the playoffs, that’s great. We’re rooting for Peyton.”
The football theme was inspired by three youth football fields in the neighborhood that were donated by the developers.
