INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 19, 2014) – Maxine and Ralph Hittle celebrated their 76th anniversary in blue and gold.

The couple, both in their 90s, wanted nothing more than to see a Pacers game–something they’d never done before. Their daughter Becky decided to take action.

“I was watching FOX59 and I thought, ‘I’m going to write and see if they can help me,’” Becky said.

FOX59 received her letter and contacted the Pacers.

The team gave the Hittles VIP treatment during Tuesday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. They got to park in the same area where players park and were greeted by the Pacemates and “Dr. Dunk,” Darnell Hillman. They also received David West and George Hill jerseys and were treated to dinner at the Champions Lounge before the game.

“Just seeing my mom and dad’s eyes…it’s unbelievable what you guys have done for us,” their daughter said. “I can’t thank you enough from the bottom of my heart.”

The Hittles had some of the best seats in the house as they watched the Pacers beat the Hawks, 108-98.
