INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 19, 2014)—A woman is in critical condition and two others were injured following a three-vehicle crash on Indianapolis’ south side Wednesday morning.

Crews with the Indianapolis Fire Department responded to the intersection of W. Thompson Road and S. Harding Street around 8:52 a.m.

IFD officials said two people were extricated from a red Chevrolet Cobalt. The driver, 28-year-old Andrew Gorman, was transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition. The passenger, 26-year-old Andrea Watson, was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

The driver of a Pontiac Grand Am was transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition. The driver of the third vehicle, 42-year-old Brian Thompson, was not injured.

IFD and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
