Police track one burglary suspect on south side, second one still sought

INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 21, 2014) – Police tracked down one burglary suspect and were looking for a second on the south side Friday morning.

The men broke into a business in the 2600 block of Shelby Street. The business owner called police, and the men ran off. A K-9 officer tracked one of the suspects, who ran toward a creek. The man was bitten and went to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Police were still seeking the second man. He’s described as a white male wearing a camouflage jacket and blue jeans.
