15-year-old boy shot, robbed on city’s northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 24, 2014) – A 15-year-old was shot and robbed on the city’s northeast side Sunday night.

The incident occurred in the 3800 block of Ireland Dr. around 10:50 p.m.

The 15-year old victim was walking home from a friend’s house with his brother and two of his friends when a gold, four-door vehicle pulled up behind them. They told police that three black males exited the vehicle. One of them shot the 15-year-old and ordered the boys to get on the ground.

The suspects then stole the boys’ cell phones, money, and a pair of Nike Air Jordans.

The victim was transported to Eskenazi Hospital awake and breathing and in stable condition.
