INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Mar. 7, 2014) — Today’s weather gave Hoosiers Spring fever. There was a lot of biking and hiking going on at Eagle Creek Park, and the folks there were loving it.

These are the symptoms of Spring Fever. The bright sunshine and warmer temperatures, the jogging and dog walking and even the skateboarder with the t-shirt and shorts on. Officially, it’s still winter in Central Indiana, but it sure didn’t feel like it.

“Monday it was five degree wind chill, today it’s 53,” said one man.

If there is one word to use to describe the weather, one woman said fantastic. Another said beautiful. The Spring tease gave father and son pair Mark and Eddie and chance to get the bikes out! It was Eddie’s first time on the bike in months…

“It’s gonna be pretty nice that we finally get outside,” Eddie said.

“It feels tropical compared to what we’re used to,” said Mark. “It’s nice. It is a little soggy out yet, but that’s okay.”

There’s no cure for Spring fever, but after this winter, we’ll live.
