Fire breaks out at Fishers gas station

FISHERS, Ind. (March 8, 2014) — Fishers firefighters were busy Saturday afternoon battling a fire in the car was of a gas station.

The fire happened at the Shell gas station on East 116th street. Fire crews were able to get the fire under control in 17 minutes.

John Mehling with Fishers Fire Department says that one civilian was slightly injured.

No word yet on what caused the fire, or the amount of damage it caused.
