LOS ANGELES (March 17, 2014) – An earthquake shook southern California Monday morning—and it happened right as two KTLA anchors were on the air.
The magnitude 4.4 quake hit around 6:25 a.m. local time. It was centered six miles north of Beverly Hills.
KTLA studios in Hollywood certainly felt the effects, with morning news anchors Chris Schauble and Megan Henderson ducking underneath the anchor desk for cover.
An aftershock with a magnitude of 2.7 hit about an hour later, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
