INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 29, 2014) — Police say a man sped into a gas station lot, stabbed another man, and then drove off.

It happened at the Admiral’s gas station on East Washington Street near Arsenal around 3:15 Saturday morning.

Police say two men were standing outside waiting for a taxi and a woman was standing near them. That’s when a man sped up in a car and began yelling at the two men. One man ran off, but the driver jumped out of the car and stabbed the other man. The driver then got back in the car and took off west bound toward downtown.

The victim was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition. The woman was not hurt.

Police aren’t sure how the individuals may be connected to each other, but they believe the woman may have some association with the driver.

Police did not immediately release a suspect description.
