BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (April 7, 2014) – A man went to the hospital after crashing his truck into a house Sunday evening.

The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of South Kirby Road.

A GMC pickup truck was going west on State Road 48 approaching Kirby Road at a high rate of speed.

The driver, Nicholas Sexton of Bloomington, lost control at the intersection and went off the road into a house. There was no one home at the time of the crash.

Sexton was taken to a local hospital via ambulance due to minor injuries and complaints of pain. He was cited for speed too fast to avoid a collision.
