Kokomo woman, 71, charged with growing marijuana in home

KOKOMO, Ind. (April 10, 2014)– Kokomo police arrested a 71-year-old woman who is accused of growing marijuana in her home.

Jo Jordan’s home was searched Sunday and police officers discovered about 200 marijuana plants inside.

Jordan was arrested on preliminary charges of marijuana possession, dealing marijuana, cultivating marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Jordan’s grandson, 22-year-old Tegan Karns, was also arrested on a preliminary charge of visiting a common nuisance, which is a misdemeanor.
