INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 10, 2014) — The Indianapolis Indians will take on the Toledo Mud Hens in the home opener at Victory Field Thursday evening.

The game starts at 7:05 p.m. and tickets are still available.

“It’s Thursday night, so it’s our first value night of the year for Thursdays. For $20 you’ll be able to get a reserve seat, a hot dog, a t-shirt and all the Pepsi you can drink,” said Cal Burleson, vice president and general manager of the Indians.

Mayor Greg Ballard will be part of the first pitch ceremony and fireworks will go off after the game.

Bicyclists are invited to meet at Sun King Brewery before the game for the Bike to the Ballpark event. The ride starts at 135 north College Avenue at 4:00 p.m. and then participants can purchase game tickets to experience the tapping of a new Sun King Indians Lager in “The Cove” at Victory Field.

New this year, Victory Field has Wi-Fi available for fans and a newly remodeled third base gift shop.

The Indians are two-time defending International League West Division champions and are 6-1 on the season so far.
