INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 16, 2014)– This isn’t your traditional camping experience. It’s called “glamping,” a glamorous touch to camping, and it’s coming to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Indianapolis 500.
From May 22 to 26, the IMS is offering race goers the chance to stay overnight in the infield, a space normally reserved exclusively for IndyCar drivers and team owners.
The nicer amenities a guest wants in their tent and on the site, the higher the price. The glamping packages begin at $650 and range up to $1,100 for four nights. Guests also will receive tickets to Carb Day, Legends Day and the Indy 500.
