Pope Francis led Easter Sunday Mass at the Vatican on Sunday.

Some 100,000 worshippers gathered in St. Peter’s Square for the holiest day on the Christian calendar.

Thursday, the pontiff delivered his Holy Thursday address ahead of the Good Friday and Easter holidays.

Sunday was also Passover on the Jewish calendar.
