INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 3, 2014) — A suspected drunk driver was arrested early Saturday morning after ramming into a police car and injuring two officers, and then taking off.

It happened at the  intersection of Washington and Gladstone on the city’s east side.

Police say the suspect was speeding westbound on Washington, where he hit one police car and caused that car to then hit another police car.

Police say the man’s black Cadillac was found nearby on Denny Street a short time later, and the man was found hiding in a house.

Both officers were taken to Methodist Hospital for their injuries.

They are expected to be okay.
