Two juveniles, one adult arrested for carjacking, one suspect still on the loose

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 11, 2014) — Indianapolis Metro Police took three people in to custody Saturday night after a carjacking and chase on the west side of Indianapolis.

The carjacking happened early Saturday morning and officers later spotted the car near 16th and Goodlet Avenue just before 11 p.m.

Police tried to stop the vehicle, but it took off and crashed.

Four suspects got out of the vehicle and ran from the scene, but police were able to catch three of those who fled.

Two of the suspects are juveniles and the third is listed as 20 year-old Nicholas Hayes.

The fourth suspect is still on the loose.

Police found a gun and items belonging to the carjacking victim, inside the car.
