Man charged in May 9 east side murder, recovering from gunshot wound

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 14, 2014) – A man has been arrested in connection with a May 9 murder on the city’s east side.

Tyree Brodley, 20, is facing a murder charge for his role in a May 9 shooting of Terrance Holmes in the 3900 block of E. New York St.

Detectives believe the shooting was a result of a previous altercation.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office formally charged Brodley with one count of murder and set his bail at $0.

Brodley is currently being held at Eskenazi Hospital while he recovers from a gunshot wound he suffered during the incident.
