Road rage incident sparks crash, brief I-65 closure

INDIANAPOLIS (May 15, 2014) – Part of Interstate 65 northbound shut down Thursday morning after a crash characterized as a case of road rage.

Fire trucks blocked all northbound lanes near the 71st Street exit, but the closure didn’t last long.

Police dispatchers told FOX59 the incident involved two drivers. One of them threw something at the other driver in an apparent act of road rage.

The incident resulted in the crash, dispatchers said.
