Responders free driver after floodwater flips truck on interstate

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (May 22, 2014) — First responders quickly worked to free a trapped semi truck driver after his cab flipped over on the ramp connecting southbound I-65 to eastbound I-865 early Thursday morning.

The crash happened around 12:40 a.m. and was cleared by about 3:40 a.m.

FOX59 News has confirmed the semi-truck flipped into standing water on the interstate ramp, just hours after severe weather passed through Boone County and other parts of central Indiana.

The condition of the driver has not been released.
