FISHERS (May 22, 2014) – Fishers officials broke ground last month on a new park–and now they want residents to help name it.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place April 22 at 101st Street and Cyntheanne Road, the future site of a destination outdoor park. Starting this week and lasting until June 6, residents can suggest a name by filling out a form at the Fishers Parks website. Town of Fishers staff will trim the list to five finalists. From June 16 through June 20, residents will be able to vote on their favorite.

Construction began this spring on the park, which will be available for community use year-round. Fishers will announce the name this summer.
