INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (May 29, 2014) — The Indiana State Fair hosts a job fair Thursday aimed at filling hundreds of seasonal positions for this summer’s big event.

State Fair spokesman Andy Klotz said 500 positions are available at the job fair, which runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Agriculture Horticulture Building.

“We will hire people year after year who are seasonal employees because we depend on them,” Klotz told FOX59 News.

While there are some clerical and office jobs available, most are outdoor positions like greeters, ticket takers, security and parking attendants.

Klotz said dress for the job fair is “comfortable” and resumes are welcome, but not required. ¬†Everyone who attends is guaranteed an interview that lasts roughly five minutes.
