Lemon Oatmeal Scrub

  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats, dry
  • 1 cup very firmly packed brown sugar
  • Zest from 1 large lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ cup grapeseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon quick-cooking oats (optional)

Process oats in food processor bowl until coarsely ground. In a medium bowl, stir together ground oats, brown sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice and grapeseed oil. If you want a chunkier scrub, stir in the 1 tablespoon quick-cooking oats before placing in container with tight lid. Makes enough for several uses.
