MISSISSINEWA, Ind. (May 31, 2014) — a water rescue ended in tragedy in Miami County Saturday evening.

Indiana Conservation Officers pulled a man from Mississinewa Lake and he has died.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Peru man Adron Robinson.
Witnesses say he was swimming across an area known as The Cove to some friends, but never made it.
Once they arrived on scene, divers recovered Robinson in about one minute, but could not revive him.

Indiana Conservation Officers want to remind everyone to wear a life jacket when you’re around water.
