Groundbreaking for new water park in Greenwood

GREENWOOD, Ind. (June 3, 2014) – The building process begins today for a new water park in Greenwood.

Crews will break ground on the aquatics center at Freedom Park this afternoon.

The city’s redevelopment commission approved more than $7 million to build the aquatics center at the Greenwood park.

The pool is expected to open in 2015.
