Lafayette police arrest man for meth lab

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (June 7) — A man is behind bars after Lafayette police arrest him for being involved in a meth lab.

Police received a tip about the meth lab on Washington Street just after 3:30 AM Saturday. When they arrived, officers saw a man carrying a smoking bag towards a curb side trash can. Officers stopped the man, and while investigating, found the bag contained a working meth lab.

Harold W Bucher was arrested on scene for manufacturing methamphetamine and an illegal drug lab. He’s been booked into the Tippecanoe County Jail with a $12,500 bond.
