Rain has now rolled through and we will continue to have a small shower chance in Indianapolis through the lunch hour at least. Some model data is keeping rain chance around for places east of Indianapolis throughout the day but I don’t think that is likely. Through 6am on Sunday morning, Indianapolis had only seen 9 hundredths of an inch of rain through 7am. We don’t expect to see much more for the rest of the day.
We will see plenty of clouds out for the remainder of the day. That will help keep temperatures down. Highs today will remain in the mid to upper 70s. The average high for this time of the year is 80 degrees. The record high for today is 95 degrees. Sunrise is at 6:17 with sunset at 9:17pm.
Monday should see us warm up to highs near 80. We may see some patchy fog as we start our day. More rain is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday could see some stronger storms roll through state ahead of an upper low. Tuesday highs will be in the mid-70s. Tuesday rains will stick around as light rain on Wednesday. Enjoy your day!
