GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (June 10, 2014)– The National Weather Service says that a tornado touched down near Bloomfield in Greene County Tuesday evening.

There have not been any confirmed reports of injuries or serious damage at this time.

We continue to monitor this tornado warned storm in eastern Greene County. This warning is in effect until 8:45 PM. This is moving northeast at 20 mph. Currently, weak rotation is being detected near Bloomfield. If you live in this area, take shelter and stay there until the warning expires.
The tornado warning has expired in eastern Greene County. There are no active tornado warnings at this time in central Indiana.
A wall cloud has been reported 1 mile east of Bloomfield from local fire officials. This was reported at 9:04 PM.

Flash flooding reported in Perrysville, IN (Vermillion County). Water is covering many of the secondary county roads.
