SWAT responded to the home near  the intersection of State and Minnesota streets just before noon in reference to a suspect possibly barricaded inside.  After hours of attempting to make contact with the suspect, identified as Joshua Curbeaux, police deployed gas into the home in an attempt to lure the suspect out.  However, it was later determined the suspect was not inside.

Police later received word Curbeaux had turned himself in at the City-County Building.

Police have been searching for Curbeaux since a Father’s Day shooting that left one man dead and two others injured.
