(June 19, 2014) – A healthier cola?

That’s what Coca-Cola is aiming for as it tests a new take on its iconic brand.

The company’s Coke Life is made with a blend of sugar and the alternative sweetener stevia. Each green can contains four teaspoons of sugar and 89 calories. In comparison, a regular can of Coke has 10 teaspoons of sugar and 140 calories.

Critics say it’s still too much sugar. The company released Coke Life in Argentina and Chile last year. It’s headed to the UK in the fall and should come to the U.S. later this year.
