MOORHEAD, MN (June 19, 2014) – Golfers enjoying a quiet day on the course were sent running for their lives when a speeding car drives onto the driving range.

The high speed chase was all caught on camera.

Police in Minnesota followed a pickup truck onto the golf course when they tried to serve the driver with outstanding drug warrants, and he took off.

The chase damaged large swaths of the course, but no one was hurt, and the suspect was eventually caught.

One golfer said: “I looked out the window and saw a pickup truck coming straight down the driving range.  He swerved out of the way and cut across the fairway… people running to get out of his way.”

The suspect is facing felony drug charges along with felony charges for fleeing police and criminal property damage.

Moorhead police are looking into whether officers followed protocol in following the suspect onto the golf course.

The department is also reviewing its chase policies.
