MARION COUNTY, Ind. (June 20, 2014) –  The homeless in Marion County have a new place to go for their health care needs.

The Eskenazi Health Pedigo at Horizon House is now open on the near east side of Indianapolis.

This health center offers primary care and mental health services in one place.

In the past, these services were run separately at Horizon House.

Registered nurse Brad York says “They become more comfortable with us. It just gets them more willing to come in and get the care they need.”

The center is named after Betty Pedigo.

She helped to establish a clinic for homeless individuals within Horizon House after she retired from Eskenazi Health.
