INDIANAPOLIS (June 23, 2014) – The Indiana Pacers’ late slump isn’t slowing down ticket sales.

According to our newgathering partners at the Indianapolis Business Journal, the season ticket renewal rate is about 93 percent. Season ticket sales are 15 percent ahead of last season.

Sponsorships and merchandise sales are also on an upward trend, the IBJ reports.

The team’s ultimate goal next season is to sell out 41 games.

Improvement has been steady over the past three years. Average attendance grew from 14,169 during the 2011-2012 season to 15,270 during the next season. Last year, the team averaged 17,501 fans per game. Home sellouts grew from six (2011-2012) to 10 (2012-2013) to 28 last year.
