Multiple shootings and robberies across the Circle City

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (June 23, 2014) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police were dispatched to four shootings and two robberies across the Circle City Sunday night through Monday morning.

Police were first called to the corner of East 38th Street and Meadows Drive with reports of a person shot. That person was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.

At 1:02 a.m., officers then responded to the 4300 block of Stouffer Lane with reports of a person shot in the hand. That person was transported to Community North Hospital in good condition.

Just one minute later at 1:03 a.m., a person was shot and robbed in the 1000 block of Winfield Avenue. A male victim was transported to Eskenazi.

At 1:15 a.m., a person was robbed in the 2600 block of Guilford Avenue. Two suspects broke into a house and robbed the resident at gunpoint. A suspect fired a shot inside the house, but no one was hurt.

A person was shot in the hip at 2:08 a.m. at the Skateland Roller Skating Center in the 6400 block of Westhaven Drive. The victim then fled in a vehicle to Taco Bell in the 3500 block of West 16th Street. While at Taco Bell, the victim called 911 and was transported to Eskenazi in stable condition.
