IMPD investigating drive-by shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 13, 2014) — Officers are investigating after a Sunday morning shooting sends one person to the hospital.

IMPD got the call of a two people shot in the area of West 37th Street near North Kenwood Avenue around 9:40AM. When they arrived, they found one man shot multiple times and another whose back was grazed by a bullet. Witnesses told police someone in a gray car shot at the two victims who were sitting in a van. The man who was shot multiple times was taken to an area hospital in critical condition to undergo surgery.

Police say they are looking for a grey four door car, possibly a Taurus. If you have any information on this shooting, please contact IMPD.
