Look familiar? Police seek suspect in connection with armed robbery

INDIANAPOLIS (July 15, 2014) – Indianapolis Metropolitan police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a business robbery.

According to police, the man entered the Safeway at 5040 E. 16th St. on the night of April 1 and bought a pack of cigarillos. As the cash drawer opened, he drew a silver handgun and demanded money. He then left the store with some cash.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the man, who police said was 5’7″ to 5’8″ and about 170 pounds.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to a felony arrest. Tips must be submitted anonymously and directly to Crime Stoppers to be eligible for this cash reward.

You will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to a felony arrest. Only tips submitted directly and anonymously to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards.
