(July 15, 2014) What’s a better pizza topping than pepperoni? Try chocolate chips.

Today Pizza Hut launches the pizza cookie!

The cookie is part of their new partnership with Hershey’s and it’s being called the “Ultimate Hershey’s Chocolate Chip Cookie.”

It measures eight inches in diameter and comes pre-cut into eight wedge shaped slices.

Pizza Hut executive Carrie Walsh tells USA Today that the company wants to target young adults with the new item.

“Millennials tell us it’s what they want. They like to cap off a great pizza with a great dessert,” Walsh said.

The new cookie joins the chain’s current lineup of sweets, which includes cinnamon bread sticks, personal apple pies, and Hershey’s chocolate-covered dunkers.

The cookie retails for $5.99 by itself or $4.99 if purchased with a pizza.
