Woman Identified In Fatal Motorcycle accident on southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 9, 2014) – A woman is dead after the motorcycle she was a passenger on was hit by a car.

IMPD dispatchers say they got the call about the accident at the intersection of Acton Road and Southeastern Avenue a little before 11AM.

Officers on scene tell FOX59 that both the car and motorcycle were traveling on Southeastern Avenue when the car made a left turn in front of the motorcycle and hit it.

The female passenger is identified as Teresa Wilson, 59.  She was pronounced dead at Eskenazi hospital. The male driver was also taken to Eskenazi with severe leg injuries.

The driver of the car was not injured.

Police are still investigating the accident, however at this point they do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor.
