Windowless plane lets passengers see where they’re going

Check out this concept for a windowless plane by Technicon Design. Instead of outfitting the plane with windows, designers installed flexible screens to cover the walls and ceilings. As a result, passengers get to see outside…without looking out the window.

According to Yahoo, the screens on the Ixion windowless jet show exterior views using windows mounted on the outside. Technicon unveiled the plane at the National Business Aviation Association show.

Flying over a particularly uninteresting landscape? The screens can change to show just about any scenery you’d like. They could also be used for video conferencing.
