State Fair vendor Chick-on-a-Stick robbed of $2,000 on final day
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 18, 2014) – The Indiana State Fair vendor Chick-on-a-Stick was robbed of $2,000 Sunday night.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m.
According to Indiana State Police spokesperson Sgt. Rich Myers, three men used a “distraction technique” to steal the money.
Two men were being disruptive in front of the booth while a third suspect is believed to have slipped in the back entrance.
Approximately $2,000 dollars was taken from the cash register.
Employers never saw the third person, and police are still looking for the suspects.
Chick–on–a–stick is a kabob of chicken breast, fried pickle and fried onion.
