INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Aug. 24th, 2014) -- Sendoff events are planned statewide Monday to show support for marriage equality plaintiffs.

Supporters will gather in Indianapolis, Lafayette and Northwest Indiana as plaintiffs make their way to Chicago for a rally.

The rally will include plaintiffs, faith leaders and marriage equality supporters from Indiana and Wisconsin, many arriving in bus caravans, as well as marriage equality advocates from Illinois who want to express their support for same-sex couples in neighboring states.

On August 26, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago will hear oral arguments in two marriage cases - one from Wisconsin and a consolidated set of cases from Indiana.
