IndyCar drivers tweet about California earthquake

SONOMA, California (August 24, 2014) —

(CNN) — A preliminary 6.0-magnitude earthquake hit the northern San Francisco Bay area early Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake struck six miles southwest of Napa and nine miles from Sonoma, according to the USGS.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
